The Low Hill Board
“Would be good to have more support in having youth voices heard.”
The Low Hill Pride in Place Board meets the requirements of government guidance, which is a minimum of eight members; an independent chair; the local Member of Parliament; a local councillor and a resident majority
You can view the current board by clicking this link.
The board currently has an independent chair, MP, councillor, 14 resident members and has seconded the headteacher of Moreton School.
It will develop a youth action group and invite two members of that group also to join the board.
It also has the scope to invite other service providers and stakeholders to meetings and work groups.
Over 80 expressions of interest were received to join the board, which is a great indication of community commitment. In response to that, other opportunities for involvement are being created via work groups.
