A request has been made to MHCLG to extend the area of benefit from the original footprint to a wider area.
The decision to request an extension is based on including as many community centres and hubs as possible - and was in line with the thoughts of the community workshop held in July.
The board will be informed of the agreed area of benefit in the next few months.

The Pride in Place funding is for the benefit of people who live or work in the core area. Funding can be invested in organisations and resources outside of the area as long as people from the area can benefit.
